The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and many groups around the country observe National Wear Red Day each year on the first Friday in February to raise awareness about heart disease as the leading cause of death among Americans, especially women. Student Council cordially invites all staff and students to get decked out in RED gear this Friday February 3rd to show our support for American Heart Month!

Tomorrow is the first day of Black History Month! The goal of Black History Month is to celebrate the contributions of Black people to American history, society, and culture. This year the theme for Black History Month is “Black Resistance” to focus on how Black Americans have resisted historic and ongoing oppression.
