SCHOOL’S OUT FOR THE SUMMER!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST!
AND THE 2021 TEACHER INSPIRATION AWARD GOES TO...MICHAEL KRAEMER!
Each year members of the senior class are asked to nominate a MHS staff member who inspires them both personally and intellectually in the classroom. A seven member committee of seniors tabulates and reviews the nominations and comments. This year, over 20 teachers were nominated! Math teacher and cross-country and track coach Michael Kraemer was chosen as this year’s recipient. (Fun fact: Mike was actually the first recipient of this award back in 2006!)
Sponsored by the MHS PTO, the recipient's name is added to the plaque of past winners (located across from the main office). In addition, the Inspiration Award recipient receives a $50 gift certificate and a grant for their classroom from the PTO. Congratulations and many thanks, Mr. Kraemer, for all you’ve done for our students!

FROM THE MHS LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER
The library website, http://medfieldhslmc.weebly.com/ has been updated to include the summer reading lists for the 9/10 graders, 11/12 graders, and the Blake students. Click on the list opposite the center picture on the homepage. There are so many great books available. Be sure to check out SORA and the Boston Public library for digital and audio books.
