FROM THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT

THE ORLANDO TRIP WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

In addition to beautiful weather and lots of park time, the band, chorus and orchestra all performed this past weekend for a large and energetic crowd at Disney Springs! In addition, all three ensembles participated in an amazing Soundtrack Workshop at Disney Imagination Studios. Students had the opportunity to experience the excitement, focus, and fast-paced energy of a professional recording studio environment. During the workshop, they had to site-read while working directly with industry professionals to create a truly magical ensemble piece. The music department is excited to share the final recordings!

Band-O-Rama was held last Monday evening where all band students grades 4-12 performed together in the MHS gymnasium! It was an entertaining and memorable concert that ended with all ensembles playing the Blues Parade together!
