GUEST SPEAKER

Last week in AP Spanish class we had the delightful experience of a visit with Yaure Muñiz, a former member of the Buena Vista Social Club. We learned from him as he told meaningful stories of his younger days when he was friends with and mentored by great Cuban musicians like Ibrahim Ferrer, Compay Segundo, Rubén Gonzalez, and Juan de Marcos Gonzalez. The students asked fabulous questions and I believe it was a meaningful encounter for all.

FROM THE CLASS OF 2026

Warm weather is just around the corner! The class of 2026 is operating a drive accepting any items that could be used to welcome in the spring. Gather new or gently used raincoats, umbrellas, sunglasses, and hats--or donate some new bottles of bug spray or sunscreen to our bin in the MHS Lobby. The drive is operating from now through May 1, so please join us in celebrating the end of winter by helping us make a difference!

FROM THE ANGP

Calling all underclassmen parents! The Class of 2025 is in the home stretch. We are in the process of planning the Senior Class Fashion Show which is the largest fundraiser for the ANGP. Please consider paying it forward and donating a gift card to be used in a raffle basket. The signup genius link also has Venmo information if you'd prefer the committee to purchase gift cards as needed. Thank you so very much for helping to make the Fashion Show an unforgettable night for our Seniors and raising money for the ANGP, too!

FROM THE FRIENDS OF MEDFIELD THEATRE SOCIETY

HS Theatre Society Announces Spring Play:
Peter and the Starcatcher
Performances at 7:00pm, March 7 and 8
MHS Auditorium

The cast and crew of MHS Theatre Society invite you to their spring play, Peter and the Starcatcher. You will not want to miss this story of magic, friendship, and love.

Have you ever wondered how Peter Pan came to be the boy who wouldn’t grow up? Well, it all started on a ship called the Neverland in 1855, with three orphaned boys and one fearless girl; who showed them that the magic of friendship is sometimes the most powerful thing there is. Molly, the daughter of Lord Aster, is a curious girl who accompanies her father as he goes on a mission for Her Majesty, Queen Victoria. She dreams to be a Starcatcher like her father, but never could have expected for her time to come so soon. Now, with a threat to her father’s mission, Molly must step up to the task. Prepare to embark on a magical adventure this March, following the story of Boy and Molly, as they brave the seven seas while warding off danger that lurks in the depths below.
