CAFE READ-A-LATTE

The MHS Library staff is excited to announce the details for Café Read-a-Latte 2025! This year the dates will run March 3, 2025- March 7, 2025. Café Read-a-Latte is a time for students to visit the LMC and get some relaxing down time by visiting different stations with book/ reading themes. This year every student at MHS will get to visit our celebration of books and reading during their English class – and possibly Flex.

In order to make this year successful, we are looking for your help! There are two ways to help if you are interested:

1) We are looking for a few volunteers at the following time slots to help us oversee the stations in the Library. IF you are interested in this, you must have a CORI on file with the Medfield Public Schools (within the last year). It only takes a few minutes if you stop by the front office at MHS or Central Office with your driver's license.

2) Every student will get a free beverage and snack during their visit, so we are looking for the following snack and beverage donations. These can be dropped off any time before the March 4th kick off. You can leave them on a labeled table by the front office at MHS– or have your student deliver directly to the LMC.

Thank you so much for helping us make this a special experience for every student at MHS!

The cost of the 8 hour party, full of non-stop entertainment, food, refreshments, and amazing party decorations is $200 per student.

We rely totally on donations to ensure ALL students can attend no matter their means.

The purpose of the party is to keep our kids safe while celebrating for the last time as the Class of 2025.

Thank you for your generous support.

**********

The All Night Grad’s biggest fundraiser is the Senior Fashion Show on March 22nd. This event is so much fun for all. It celebrates the Seniors in a fun, relaxed show where anything goes!

We are in need of volunteers to help backstage, front of house and lug stuff from A to B!

The Senior parents should sit and enjoy the event, so we rely on the help of parents/guardians of 9th, 10th and 11th Graders. Please pay it forward and support the fun.

Contact us HERE if you can volunteer www.medfieldangp.com

FROM THE MCPE

Are you looking for a way to give back to Medfield Public Schools? Join the Medfield Coalition for Public Education!Volunteer with MCPE and make a difference for our kids and schools!

MCPE is an independent, non-profit organization founded to provide system-wide support for the Medfield Public Schools through grants for the development of innovative programs, curriculum, and enrichment. MCPE is led by a volunteer board that works throughout the school year to organize community-wide fundraising events, like our Fall Ball and upcoming Trivia Night. The funds raised from these events allow us to award a variety of grants to teachers and staff at all five Medfield Public Schools.

We’re now recruiting new board members to start in the 2025-26 school year! If you are interested in becoming an MCPE board member, we would love to hear from you. We're looking for candidates who can commit to a 3-year term, attend board meetings once a month (Sept-June), and have an active interest in enriching kids' education in Medfield schools. All skill sets are welcome, and we strive to have a board with diverse backgrounds.

HS Theatre Society Announces Spring Play:

Peter and the Starcatcher
Performances at 7:00pm, March 7 and 8
MHS Auditorium

The cast and crew of MHS Theatre Society invite you to their spring play, Peter and the Starcatcher. You will not want to miss this story of magic, friendship, and love.

Have you ever wondered how Peter Pan came to be the boy who wouldn’t grow up? Well, it all started on a ship called the Neverland in 1855, with three orphaned boys and one fearless girl; who showed them that the magic of friendship is sometimes the most powerful thing there is. Molly, the daughter of Lord Aster, is a curious girl who accompanies her father as he goes on a mission for Her Majesty, Queen Victoria. She dreams to be a Starcatcher like her father, but never could have expected for her time to come so soon. Now, with a threat to her father’s mission, Molly must step up to the task. Prepare to embark on a magical adventure this March, following the story of Boy and Molly, as they brave the seven seas while warding off danger that lurks in the depths below.

FROM THE HANNAH ADAMS WOMAN’S CLUB

Host sought for Hannah Adams Graduation Tea on May 27.

Each year, for more than 50 years, the Hannah Adams Woman's Club hosts a Graduation Tea. Would your family like to host the event this year? The HAWC ladies do all the work - they bring the food, dishware, and decorations - your family provides space for about 70 students to sit inside and/or outside (and there should be safe parking nearby). It is a longstanding Medfield tradition covered by local media and will take place on May 27 (the day after Memorial Day) at 1 p.m. If you're interested in hosting, please email hannahadamswc@gmail.com or text 508-530-8795.
