Dear Medfield Families,
We have been informed that three students at Medfield High School have tested positive for COVID-19. None of these students participated with in-person classes during the infectious period, which the MA Department of Public Health has defined as 48 hours prior to the beginning of symptoms, or if asymptomatic, 48 hours prior to the test collection. The community contact tracing has been completed.
In addition, I've attached a resource from the National Association of School Psychologists for you to use during conversations with your children about the disturbing and shameful events in Washington, D.C. today. Our staff also has this resource to use with students tomorrow. Please reach out to any of our staff members if you need any additional support.
