Dear Medfield Families,
We have been informed that a student at Medfield High School and a student at Blake Middle School have tested positive for COVID-19. The MHS student did participate with in-person classes during the infectious period, which the MA Department of Public Health has defined as 48 hours prior to the beginning of symptoms, or if asymptomatic, 48 hours prior to the test collection. The Blake student did not participate with in-person learning during the infectious period. There are no in-school close contacts and the community contact tracing is still ongoing.
