Dear Medfield Families,
The repeated images and stories of the horrific events in Israel over the past three days have permeated both television screens and social media feeds. We understand that this complex issue may have raised questions and concerns for both you and your children. The Medfield Public Schools is committed to providing resources and support to help our students if they are having a difficult time with the recent events in Israel. Students who have been following the news or have overheard conversations may be curious about the global or local impact of the conflict. To be able to navigate their emotions in a healthy and productive way, our students may need guidance to help process and understand what they have seen or heard.
To help with these conversations, I've attached the following resources for parents:

The Medfield Public Schools remains committed to our core value of Inclusivity and safety for all students. This safety includes the emotional well-being of our students and staff regardless of their religious beliefs. At any time if you feel your child needs any additional guidance around this issue, please contact your child's principal or school counselor. Thank you for your ongoing support of our schools.
Sincerely,
Jeff Marsden
