A message from the athletic trainer:
As many of you may know I am a newly hired athletic trainer and teacher this year. I am very happy to have made a career change to your town and school. I could not have picked a better place. After 27 years as the Director of Sports Medicine at Boston University I was looking for an improvement of life style from the Division 1 rat race.
I would like to inform you that I am willing an able to offer rehabilitation services to your son/daughter and would also be able to assist you in obtaining a fast route to a qualified orthopedic sports medicine physician if needed.
I must insist that your son/daughter check in with me prior to return to play. This is to make sure that you and I and the coach have the best interest and safety of the athlete foremost in mind and communicate their health status.
Some of you may not have utilized the skill of an athletic trainer or even know what we offer as health care professionals. I have a Masters degree in sports medicine and have passed national boards and I am licensed in the State of Massachusetts to practice athletic training. I specialize in manual therapy, emergency care on the athletic site and provide evaluation and rehabilitation to athletes that have sustained injuries. I work under the direction of the physicians that treat the athletes.

At most away and home sports games, office can be found in the wellness wing of the high school
