Substance Awareness
Task Definition:
This is your chance to research a substance and report back to your peers valuable information concerning laws and issues.
For your project, you are required to create:
- Paper with visuals that is 5 pages in length, typewritten, and double-spaced.
- A works cited page / endnotes page must be attached with at least four different sources used, only one of which may be an electronic source (Internet, CD, etc.).
- Oral report to the class that is 5-10 minutes in length and be prepared to answer questions from the class.

National Clearinghouse for Drug and Alcohol Information: A service of the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration.
National Families in Action: Subtopics include: Drugs and Science, Drugs and the Law, Drugs and the Brain, Preventing Druig Abuse, Street Names, and Analyzing Legalization.
Web of Addictions: Devoted to providing accurate information about drug and alcohol addiction.
