The Boys’ Varsity Soccer team will be holding a CAR WASHfrom 10:00 am - 2:00 pm behind Town Hall on Sunday, Sept. 10th to help with program expenses.  Please swing by to clean up your car for the start of the school year!  Welcome back Warriors!

The MHS Student Council will sponsor a “Welcome Dance” for all MHS gr 9 students (only) on Friday, September 8th from 7:00-9:30 pm in the HS cafeteria.  Tickets will be on sale during all lunches beginning Tuesday, September 5th.

TUESDAY, September 12th is Picture Day at MHS.  All Students will have their photos taken for their ID cards.  Photo packages will be available for purchase.  Please watch your email for further information from Assistant Principal, Jeff Sperling.  Order forms will also be available in the main office the week before Picture Day.

WEDNESDAY, September 13th at 7:00 pm the Medfield High School PTO will hold their first meeting of the year in the library.  All MHS parents are invited to attend!

THURSDAY, September 21st all Medfield Public Schools will be CLOSED.

Mark your calendars for the MHS OPEN HOUSE scheduled for Wednesday, September  27th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.  Watch your email for more details in the weeks to come!


Registration for the October 14th PSATs will open on Wednesday, September 6th in the Medfield High School guidance department.  We encourage all members of the class of 2019 to take the PSAT in preparation for future college entrance exams.  Students can register through the guidance office by clicking here:  PSAT REGISTRATION

Students can drop off payment and pick up a prep booklet in the Medfield High School guidance office beginning on Wednesday, September 6th.  The cost for the PSAT is $27.  Checks can be made out to:  MEDFIELD HIGH SCHOOL.  The deadline to register is Friday, October 6th.

If financial assistance is required please contact the guidance office at 508-359-2482 to request a fee waiver.

Tuesday, September 12th  at the Zullo Gallery: The MMA invites the entire Medfield community to kick off another successful year in music with its annual gathering at the Zullo Gallery from 7:30-9 p.m. Come get a sneak peek of what’s ahead, hear inspirational remarks from music students, meet staff and parents, and have some fun. Zullo deck will be open, weather permitting. All are welcome to stop in anytime!

MMA & Friends of MHS Theatre Society

Saturday, September 16th at Medfield Day: Friends of MHS Theatre Society and MMA are pairing up for Medfield Day. Be sure to stop by and say hello at this year’s event. You can find the table near the entrance of “Kids Alley”. Both groups will be providing fun and entertainment all day long!
SAVE THE DATE! Wednesday, September 13th, 7pm. "PTO Presents..."

Join the Medfield High School PTO this year for a new conversation series addressing topics of interest and concern to high school parents. There will be a new forum each month open to you and your questions.  RSVP  here and submit questions or future topic suggestions. The conversation series will kick off at our first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 13th at 7pm in the MHS Library. Come meet Dr. David Worthley who will be discussing teen depression and addressing parents' concerns regarding adolescent mental health. And feel free to stay for the PTO business meeting immediately following at 8pm. New parents always welcome.  

David Worthley, Ed.D. is the Coordinator of Social/Emotional Learning at Medfield High School! Dr. Worthley has worked in the field of psychiatric crisis, on adolescent units, in maximum security prisons, and in several schools in Massachusetts. He is passionate about his work with the adolescent population, and understands well the importance and value of a solid educational foundation.
