MHS Theatre Society to present the musical, PIPPIN  

PIPPIN tells the story of a young prince who returns home from university certain that he will find a fulfilling purpose in life. With the help of a raucous band of performers, Pippin quickly discovers that finding true happiness is more complicated than he thought.  Will Pippin embrace an extraordinary life of glitz, glamour, and glory or "settle" for a mundane and ordinary life of familial responsibility and love? Tickets are now on sale for the Senior Fashion Show!  Members of the Class of 2018 will take to the runway on March 17th to model the latest prom fashions.   This annual fundraiser for All Night Graduation Party is not to be missed!  Tickets cost $22/person and can be purchased at www.medfieldhsfashionshow.weebly.com.   Questions? PHOTOS NEEDED: Please submit two to three photos of your senior by Thursday, March 1.  These are needed for our candid picture wall which displays beautiful memories of your senior and the entire class throughout their childhood and school years. They should be 4”x6” or smaller and can be of your student at any age, in any setting - including the baby years, school, athletic or social.  Also, we need class and team photos. Please submit only copies as they will not be returned and write the name of the student (and any friends that may be pictured) on the back of each photo.  Questions? The Medfield Public Schools and Medfield Memorial Library present “An Evening with Newbery Award winning author of THE CROSSOVER, Kwame Alexander”, on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the Blake Middle School auditorium.  Registration is required and tickets are limited.  Click HERE for more details.

FROM THE YEARBOOK STAFF -  We are pleased to announce that Jostens has YET AGAIN agreed to extend the deadline to design/purchase baby ads for the 2018 yearbook. The new and final deadline is February 12. It is a fun tradition for families of MHS seniors to design/purchase baby ads to honor their soon-to-be graduates. All Medfield Public Schools will be CLOSED February 19-23 for SCHOOL VACATION WEEK.  Classes will resume on Monday, February 26th.


The February MHS Site Council meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, February 26th at 2:45 pm in the main office conference room.

SAVE THE DATE!  The Medfield High School PROGRAM OF STUDIES NIGHT is scheduled for THURSDAY, MARCH 1st.  The program for incoming grade 9 parents will begin at 6:30 pm and the subsequent program for rising grade 10 - 12 parents will begin at 7:30 pm.  Watch for more information and emails regarding this important program in the weeks ahead.


On Thursday, March 29th, Medfield will be offering the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery).  Students can register here:  ASVAB

The test, open to all CURRENT JUNIORS & SENIORS is approximately 3 hours in length.  Students are reminded that they are responsible to approach teachers in order to make up all missing assignments.  Students will check-in to the MHS Guidance office the morning of the exam.

The ASVAB is an interest inventory that allows students to explore potential career options.  The ASVAB is designed to help students learn more about themselves and the world of work, to identify and explore potentially satisfying occupations, and develop an effective strategy to realize potential career goals.  There is no fee to take the test.  If you have any questions about registration please contact the guidance office.

The Massachusetts Miss Amazing event is fast-approaching and will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Medfield High School! MA Miss Amazing is the state chapter of Miss Amazing, Inc., a national nonprofit, whose mission is to build self-esteem and improve social and communication skills for girls and women with disabilities.  To find out more about this event or to make a secure online donation, go to www.ma.missamazing.org.
