Congratulations to the cast, crew and directors of the MHS Theatre Society’s production of Medfield After Dark. MAD is a comedy variety show written and directed by MHS seniors, the proceeds of which benefit the David E. Medeiros Scholarship and the MHS Theatre Society. A round of applause to all involved and to the enthusiastic audience members who braved the frigid temperatures to catch this much anticipated annual event!
ALL MEDFIELD PUBLIC SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED on Monday, January 15th in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
MERRIMACK COLLEGE RESEARCH PROJECT
We sent a letter to all grade 9 and 10 parents on December 20th regarding the above project. The letter from Merrimack College is posted here. The email that accompanied the letter read as follows:
Please read the attached letter about a research project we are participating in which involves your child. All 9th and 10th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in a survey, which is described within the letter.
Thanks, let me know if you have any questions.
MEDFIELD MUSIC ASSOCIATION NOTES
“Why continue with music…in Medfield and beyond?” At 7:30 pm, on Thursday, Jan. 11th (rescheduled from Jan. 9th) in the MHS Music Room adjacent to auditorium, this is the question three music alumni representing Band, Orchestra and Choir will answer for the benefit of both parents and students in all grades. The alumni guests will be Mark Volkin (2017), Cole Foster (2016) and Allegra Pericles (2015). All three are non-music majors who continue to stay involved in ensembles at the college level (with one recently marching in the Rose Bowl parade!). They will reflect on what kept them going through various challenges in school, and the benefits that participation in music provided – and still provides. The alumni remarks and Q&A are part of the MMA January meeting agenda that begins at 7:00 pm and will be held in the MHS Music Room adjacent to the auditorium. Other topics include upcoming events and activities, plus exciting news about sponsorships and overall fundraising. All are welcome!
FROM THE YEARBOOK STAFF

It is a fun tradition for families of MHS seniors to design/purchase baby ads to honor their soon-to-be graduates, and we want to make sure there is ample time to click on the following link and complete the process:
