TUESDAY, December 12th is a Teacher Professional Day. MHS students will be dismissed at 11:10 am.
Looking to get in the spirit of the season? You can start by experiencing the sounds of the talented musicians of the MHS concert band and choir at the Winter Concert scheduled for WEDNESDAY, December 13th beginning at 7:00 pm in the HS auditorium. The concert is free and open to all!
On December 15th, the MHS nurses will be screening the 10th grade students for vision, hearing and obtaining a height and weight. According to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health CMR 200.400; Vision and Hearing Screenings will be performed by school health personnel on each student in the public school once during high school. If you prefer that your child be excused from this screening, please contact me via email or telephone. Nothing says "Happy Holidays" more than a 2018 yearbook for your student! The yearbook staff is working hard to be inclusive of all grades...not just seniors. AP EXAM INFORMATION COMING IN THE NEW YEAR
All students enrolled in an AP course(s) will be able to register and pay for AP exams by visiting: http://aptestservice.com/medfield. The cost for each exam is $100. There is a late fee of $15 per test. The window for test registration runs from January 5th--March 2nd, 2018. After the December recess we will be meeting with students about AP exams to explain:
-The AP exam schedule
-Sending scores to colleges
-Eligibility for extended time
-Potential conflicts with exam and/or field trips

MHS THEATRE SOCIETY NEWS
Medfield High School Theatre Society's production of Medfield After Dark will be on January 6 at 7:00 pm. MAD is a comedy variety show written and directed by Medfield High School seniors. Jam packed with energy and jokes, MAD is sure to entertain. Proceeds benefit the David E. Medeiros Scholarship and the MHS Theatre Society. Don’t miss our JAZZ WINTERFEST concert scheduled for TUESDAY, December 19th beginning at 7:00 pm in the HS auditorium. Come and listen to the sounds of the incredibly talented musicians of our MHS Jazz Band and Jazz Choir. The concert is free and open to all.
MHS Students will be dismissed on FRIDAY, December 22 at 11:10 am. ALL Medfield Public Schools will be CLOSED for the December recess MONDAY, December 25 - MONDAY, January 1. Classes will resume on TUESDAY, January 2.
