FALL ATHLETICS MEETING ON MONDAY, JUNE 4th
On Monday, June 4th, at 7:00 pm, there will be a meeting held in the gymnasium at the Medfield High School for all athletes and a parent(s) interested in playing high school athletics this coming fall season at Medfield. This meeting is very important and will cover many questions and concerns you may have, as well as introductions to all high school coaches and staff.

Cross Country (Boys and Girls)
Soccer (Boys and Girls)
Field Hockey (Girls)
EVENING OF EXCELLENCE
The annual Evening of Excellence award ceremony for grade 9 - 11 students will be held on Tuesday, June 5th at 6:30 PM in the gym. Families of students receiving awards will have been notified by email.
Rachel Tatro selected to Massachusetts Art All-State! Massachusetts Art All-State is “an intense 2 day program that brings together 145 high school juniors of exceptional talent and commitment to work with practicing artists to create collaborative installations.” Principal Robert Parga is proud to announce that MHS junior, Rachel Tatro, has been selected to participate in this highly competitive program on June 8th and 9th. Congratulations to Rachel! GO WARRIORS!
The Medfield PTO will meet on Wednesday, June 6th at 7:00 PM in the HS Library. All MHS parents are invited to attend.
FROM THE HEALTH OFFICE
The last official day of school is Monday, June 18; This is an early release day. Please be aware that all controlled medications will need to be picked up by a parent or other adult. All other medications will need to be picked up on or before June 18th by the student. Emergency medication such as Epipens should go home with the student close to the last day of school. Should you have any questions, please contact the Health Office.

ATTENTION: PARENTS OF GRADE 9 STUDENTS - The MCAS SCIENCE EXAMS will be administered on Wednesday, and Thursday (June 6 and 7). The test will begin promptly each day at 7:40 AM. Students should arrive at school on time. They should wear comfortable clothing and dress in layers as the temperature in the classrooms can vary. Students are encouraged to bring snacks, which may be eaten after testing. Please note: NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES may be used by students during the testing session. Cell phones must be zipped into backpacks. Use of electronic devices may result in a voided test for that day.

MHS THEATER WORKSHOP - FRIDAY, JUNE 8th - Interested in learning more about theater? This is your chance to learn about everything that happens behind-the-scenes to make a show possible! This one-day workshop is open to all current 8th-11th graders interested in lighting design, set design, sound, set building, costume design, etc. Note: You do not have to be a current MHS Theater Society member to attend. MEDFIELD MUSIC ASSOCIATION NOTES - The Medfield community is invited to a performance by the Ngoma Dzakanaka Marimba Band, 6:00 pm, Tuesday, June 5th at Blue Moon (rain date is Thursday, June 7th). Directed by David Ruggiero, the band is comprised of Dale Street and Blake Middle School students who always put on a great show!
Looking ahead…please save these two important dates: MMA Annual Meeting, 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 12th in the music room, and the MHS Jazz Band Concert and Doug Olsen Farewell, 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, June 14th on the Medfield Common by the Gazebo.
