This is the key starting point for your research. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts provides libraries with access to information on a wide variety of topics. These subscription databases are provided to our school by the MetroWest Regional Library System.

Our Favorite!  The World Book Online Reference Center includes the complete World Book Encyclopedia, dictionary, atlas and more!

Biographical information on individuals - authors, athletes, inventors, historical figures and more!  Often includes a picture.
bullet InfoTrac Junior Edition
Medium reading level.  Recommended for Dale Street School students. Provides access to magazines, newspapers and reference books on a variety of searchable subjects.

High-school reading level.  Provides access to magazines, newspapers and reference books on a variety of searchable subjects.
bullet Kid InfoBits
An easy to use search engine. This InfoTrac database covers geography, current events, the arts, science, health, people, government, history, sports and more!

You can use these SAME databases from HOME - with your Massachusetts Public Library card!   Type your library card number in the box below and press GO.  When the new page opens, scroll down to find and click on any database - World Book Online, Biography Resource Center, InfoTrac and more.
