 Welcome to the 2006-2007 school year!  The School Committee uses this web page to provide the Medfield community with highlights of our meetings.  It is our hope that you will stay informed by attending meetings, checking out our web page, or watching the meetings from home on Cable 8.  The meeting schedule is posted below. 

The Committee members are Susan Cotter (Chairperson for 2006-07), Debbie Noschese, Sue Ruzzo, Tim Bonfatti, Carolyn Casey, and School Committee Student Representative Sutton Dewey. If you have ideas to share, questions or concerns, feel free to contact a School Committee member at 359-2303.

Meeting Highlights From May 21, 2007

 

Important Reminder… to vote on June 4th and Please support the Operational Budget Override-

 

Polls are held at the Wheelock School from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm

 

 

Superintendent’s Evaluation – The committee discussed the process to be used in evaluating Superintendent Maguire’s performance evaluation.  He will be measured against goals set for him by the School Committee at the beginning of the school year.  A set of established performance standards are also included in the process.

 

Proposed School Committee Summer Meeting Dates and 2007-2008 School Year Meeting Dates- The School Committee reviewed and approved the meeting dates for the summer and the school year ahead.  The School Committee will meet on June 4 and 18. We  will be on hiatus for the month of July unless a special meeting is called due to an urgent matter and will resume a regular meeting schedule on August 20th.

 

MHS Graduation Ceremonies will be held on June 3rd at 2:00 on the High School Athletic Field.  Congratulations to all of the 2007Graduates!

MEETING TIMES VARY:

 Regular Meeting with No Executive Session - 7:30 p.m. If an executive session is need the School Committee will meet in open session at 7:00 to vote to go into executive session. Executive session will go from 7:05-7:30. Open session will resume following executive session as close to 7:30 as possible.

When there are Student Advisory Council presentations they will be the first regular agenda item. 

Meetings are generally held at the new Cable 8 studio

                    located at the High School.
