Let's Recycle!!

Did you know that the Blake Middle School collects ink jet cartridges and cell phones for recycling? We recycle all the cartridges we use at the school through a company called the FUNDING FACTORY, and we earn points for each cartridge or cell phone. These points are then used to purchase new technology equipment.

Now students and their families can help with this fundraiser. Just collect any used inkjet cartridges from your home printers or any old cell phones (we do not need chargers,etc) put them in a ziplock plastic bag (to prevent the ink from leaking) and bring them to the Library Media Center (LMC). We also take empty laser cartridges if you have those or would like to send in some from your office. We cannot take refurbished cartridges.

This is a wonderful way to help your school and protect the environment at the same time. Thank you for your help!
