- Adopting educational goals for the school that are consistent with local educational policies and statewide performance standards
- Identifying the educational needs of students attending the school
- Reviewing the annual school building budget
- Formulating a school improvement plan
Members of the Council are elected to the board by members of the school community in September. Meetings are held on a regular basis and are conducted under the Open Meeting Law, accordingly any member of the school's community may attend meetings. The dates of the meetings are posted below.
